White Woman Shot And Killed By Minneapolis Police

Don’t look now, but apparently, police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota are running out of black people to shoot and kill. I suppose a $48,000 payout to the officer who was recently acquitted for killing Philando Castile hasn’t slowed things down.

An unarmed white woman, Justine Damond, was shot and killed by a cop in Minneapolis who was responding to her 911 call about strange noises in the alley behind her house.

Allow me to reiterate the fact that she was unarmed.

According to the Star Tribune:

The shooting happened at the end of the alley on W. 51st Street between Washburn and Xerxes avenues S. in the city’s Fulton neighborhood.

The woman, Justine Damond, from Sydney, Australia, and her fiancé lived in the 5000 block of Washburn.

Three sources with knowledge of the incident said Sunday that two officers in one squad car, responding to the 911 call, pulled into the alley. Damond, in her pajamas, went to the driver’s side door and was talking to the driver. The officer in the passenger seat pulled his gun and shot Damond through the driver’s side door, sources said. No weapon was found at the scene.

“Two Minneapolis police officers responded to a 911 call of a possible assault just north of the 5100 block of Washburn Avenue S. just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday,” the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said in a news release. “At one point, an officer fired their weapon, fatally striking a woman.”

So let me get this right. She was shot while she was speaking to the officers at the driver side window of the police car? She was shot by the officer on the passenger side of the car?

Allegedly, the police body cameras were turned off at the time of the shooting?

I’m sorry, but this sounds shady as hell.

Justine Damond

At any rate, the woman shot and killed was an Australian national. We’ll see how the #AllLivesMatter crowd responds to this. They’ll probably say that she wasn’t an American and acted like a typical angry Australian aborigine, so naturally, she deserved to be killed.

Given this fact, it will be interesting to see how the #AllLivesMatter crowd responds to this.

They’ll probably say that she wasn’t an American who acted like a typical angry Australian Aborigine; so naturally, she deserved to be shot and killed. But then again, maybe they’ll use this shooting to counter the claim that black people are disproportionally killed by cops.

Yep, no need for any more raucous demonstrations and protests.

Yes, a white woman was shot and killed by the police, so case closed.

As if a white woman being killed by the cops debunks systemic racism.
