Herman Cain: African Americans are “Brainwashed.” & “Not Open-Minded”

Herman Cain winning the Florida Straw Poll last weekend, has to be the practical joke of the year. As a matter of fact, when the news broke last Saturday, I literally laughed my ass off. I’m not sure, but I think those folks in Florida confused his “9-9-9 Plan” for a lifetime supply of $9.99 Godfather’s Pizza delivered by a butt-naked Chilean Model. But of course now that he has gotten a boost of confidence from Florida GOP pollsters, now he thinks he’s the the savior of a woeful Black America.

Check him out with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer:

Sorry Herman, but to borrow a line from you: that dog won’t hunt. I don’t know who are these Black people you’ve been meeting in airports. But seriously, there’s no way you’re going to get 1/3rd of the Black vote as you think. Trust me buddy, Black folks ain’t feeling you like that, pal. Besides, what exactly have you offered America in the form of solutions? You know, solutions that speak directly to the economic conditions of Black folks in America? You know, like Black unemployment? I could be wrong, but it’s pretty obvious that Cain never listened to Ice Cude when he said “Blacks are too fuckin’ broke to be Republican.” But what do you expect from a known boot-licker from the south who makes six figures.

“Our tax code is the 21st Century version of slavery. The IRS has become the overseer of the American people. — Herman Cain, on his 9-9-9 Plan

Umm, what is it with Black Republicans and their fetish with everything slavery, or slave-ish? But yet Cain and his fellow Black Republicans are the supposed free thinkers unlike the majority of Black folk who vote for Democrats? You know, people like “me” are stuck on the “plantation” that is the Democratic Party? Sorry Herman, you still sound like a slave catcher to me. But I suppose when Barack Obama tells Black folks to “stop complaining,” doors are opened up for a new Black savior. It’s just too bad for Cain that he’s not it, nor ever will be.

Check out PolitiFact’s assessment of Cain’s 9-9-9 Plan and see just how benefiial it would be for African Americans. After all, unlike Barack Obama, Herman Cain actually “cares” about Black people. Oh, you don’t believe me? Well, just check out the following 2006 radio campaign ad from 2006 he ran when he ran for state government. Surely after listening to this you can’t tell me he does care about Black folks, or that there’s no way he can’t capture at least 1/3rd of the Black vote should he become the GOP presidential nominee in 2012.
