So Republicans Support Uninsured Americans Dying, But Just Not At Hospitals?

I didn’t watch last night’s CNN-Tea party Debate last night; fact is, I’m still recovering from the brain damage suffered by watching the last one. Yeah, I heard the term “Obamacare” so much that I developed a brain tumor. I know, I get it; they dopn’t like president Obama or his policies. And let them tell it, not only is “Obamacare” destroying America, it also slings crack to kids in elementary schools. Oh well, that’s the Teapublicans for ya; nothing new, or innovative ever offered

Anywhichaways… not a real shocker, but I heard the subject of health care came up again last night. Yeah, and from what I’ve been hearing, a certain candidate – who happens to be a licensed doctor-made no bones about how he felt about personal responsibility, health care coverage, and the administering of care to patients. From what I’m hearing, this candidate believes that, well, dying as a result of someone not having coverage is an issue of personal responsibility. Not only that, but it being a personal responsibility issue, paying for medical care is too much like, well, too much government. That’s right, the same ‘ole same ‘ole; and, wouldn’t ya’ know it, the crowd agreed:

Honestly, I wish the question was framed to reflect the affordability issue. I’m sure there are many people who feel invincible, and as a result do not see the need for coverage – or to waste money on it. However, I’m willing to bet that the scenario posed by Wolf Blitzer doesn’t represent the majority of the uninsured. I’m sorry, but the 43 million or so uninsured Americans simple cannot afford  health insurance. As for me, it would have been interesting to see his answer or the crowd response if the question were posed this way. Something tells me the answer and subsequent response including the “let him die,” yell would be the same. Let’s face it: these people are cold and heartless.

Yo… you what’s worse? This looneytarian’s main campaign manager of many years, responsible for helping raise TENS of millions of dollars, died. He couldn’t afford health care and he died owing 400,000:
