Robert H. Richards IV and the Affluenza Facts

So, I think it is time for me to break down some simple facts about this case:

1.)    Robert H. Richards IV is a member and heir of two prominent Delaware families. The du Pont family are the ones who built the worldwide chemical empire.  The Richards family co-founded the prestigious corporate law firm Richards Layton & Finger. His grandfather is Du Pont family patriarch Irenee du Pont. His father, Robert H. Richards III, was a partner in the law firm until his 2008 retirement. [2]

So, it is to say that he does not have to worry about money being any issue. Nor does he have to worry about lawyering up since he probably had lawyers at his Sweet 16 parties blowing out his candles. I know it sounds insane, but I am just saying.

2.)    Judge Jan Jurden suggested Robert H. Richards IV would benefit more from treatment. Let us be reminded that Richards was charged with fourth-degree rape in 2009. As a result of a subsequent lawsuit filed by his ex-wife, this “light sentence” has now become public. The charges do note that he penetrated his daughter with his fingers while masturbating, and subsequently assaulted his son as well. [3]

3.)    The lawsuit argues that statements Richards made while on probation are evidence he admitted in April 2010 to sexually abusing his son. Those assaults began around December 2005, when the boy was 19 months old, and continued for about two years, the lawsuit said. [4]

4.)    Richards was ordered to take a lie detector test in an attempt to get him to be more forthcoming about his sexual history. He failed it. Eventually, Richards told the examiner he “was very concerned that something happened with his son, but that he has repressed the memories.’” He told the examiner he worried that his acts were “similar to what happened with his daughter,” the lawsuit said. “But he promised that whatever I did to my son, I will never do it again.” [5]

And I am finished giving facts about this story because the facts are damning, draining, and mind numbing.

The Problem This Case of Affluenza Causes

Robert H. Richards IV pretty much got off easy. Rest assured that he is in a happy state because he won’t serve any prison time (at this moment).

What we should find odd is that Richards received a sentence better served for drug addicts. I would say that this is a strange situation for him. Then again, have we not seen this before? Have we not witnessed the rich getting away with situations because they have the resources to turn things in their favor? Have we not witnessed this situation occur with the drunk driving teen in Texas? It is safe to say that the rich can damn near live the lives they please.

This only happens because we, foolhardily, believed that justice is this blind woman with the balance. In reality, justice is no more than your regular whore that sells her ass to the highest bidder. This case only solidify that our justice system has taken cues from “the world’s oldest profession”. The court system is not filled with thelaw abiding citizens making decisions. It is filled with pimps, players, hustlers, and ballers.

Meanwhile, “Justice” is kissing the biggest pinky ring.

I cannot blame Robert H. Richards IV for being a product of riches. But I can blame him for being a more despicable human being. I cannot help but to think that situations like this will get more “swept under rug” treatment. Eventually, America is going to get tired of this bullshit. At some point, there needs to be a vaccine for this case of affluenza.

So, who is willing to hit up the laboratory? This question shall always deserve an answer.

Enter Woody Allen. I don’t like to get involved in “celebrity gossip” but I felt that I finally had to chime in on the situation. Earlier this month, Woody’s adopted daughter Dylan, wrote aletter to the N.Y. Times in which she said that Allen had molested her when she was seven years old. Now this is an old case from 21 years ago when Mia Farrow accused Woody of molesting Dylan. This was smack dab in the middle of the messy Mia-Woody-Soon-Yi drama and Mia was obviously pissed off at Woody. Maybe she even had the right to be pissed off.

The police did a thorough investigation and found no wrong doing on Woody’s part. As far as Mia was concerned they weren’t sure if seven year old Dylan was coached by Mia or not. They figured it was probably a combination of coaching from Mia and Dylan’s own resentment from being told what a shit her father was for getting involved with Soon-Yi who was in her early 20′s at the time.

Case closed. Or at least it should have been. Cue the Golden Globe awards. I was actually monitoring my twitter feed during the awards and Mia Farrow was being quite entertaining with her tweets about the event. When it came time for the Woody Allen tribute she said something to the effect of…Time to go eat ice cream..or something like that. Anyway I thought it was funny. Then came a tweet by her son Ronan which wasn’t funny. He asked when the part where Woody molests his seven year old daughter was going to be shown.

Being that Woody was never convicted or even indicted for anything Ronan is lucky he wasn’t sued. I certainly would have sued his ass. Ronan is obviously not Woody’s son. He couldn’t look more like Sinatra and he knows who his father is. My guess is that he doesn’t want to talk about this because then his mother would have been still fucking Frank while dating Woody and this wouldn’t make her look good. Anyway I digress.

I personally know of a case where a guy was dating a woman and when things went downhill the woman accused him of fondling her son. The police investigated and said the woman was making everything up and that she was crazy to boot. This happens more than you think..ladies! When a woman does this it can fuck a guys life up for good. I hope the sane, rational women out there understand this. I’m sure they do. Any woman who is found to have done such a thing like falsely accuse a man of molesting a child should be put in jail. Just the way a rape can destroy a woman, a false accusation like this can haunt a man forever. It’s not funny, it’s sick and demented.

Legal and medical professionals said that Woody never molested Dylan and that Mia may very have planted some thoughts in Dylan’s head. Shame on her if she did. I have no doubt that Dylan believes Woody molested her, as it’s not hard to manipulate a seven year old into believing things and then as an adult those manipulations are seen as reality. This is psych 101.

Ronan I’m sure believes Dylan’s story since he was younger than her and has grown up with his sister and mother, having no real contact with Woody. But he is supposedly a smart guy and should know better than to slander someone who wasn’t convicted of any wrong doing.

When I was in school I researched Woody and his films. I found out that women back in the 70′s and 80′s actually had sexual dreams and fantasies about Woody. At first it seemed laughable but it was explained psychologically as women being attracted to a man with a sense of humor, that could make them laugh. Of course Woody was always seen opposite young, good looking women in his films as well.

What I do find amazing now is how many women enjoy the “pile-on.”  It seems easy to look at the aging Woody and to make fun of him, ridicule him for being involved with a younger woman and throw accusations about child abuse at him even though they have no real facts or evidence to back it up. Some of these some people (not all women but mostly) are the first to say an accused person is innocent until proven guilty…but not Woody.

Robert Weide, a writer and a friend of Woody’s came to his defense and all I heard was how he can’t be trusted because he is Woody’s friend. Yet those who had even more at stake, people like Mia and Ronan, well THEIR opinions are valid. And what the fuck is wrong with coming to the defense of a friend? Especially is you are armed with REAL facts like Weide.

Woody himself wrote a response to the accusations and once again brought up the facts. The investigation and the judgement of EXPERTS. He also spoke about some inconsistencies with Mia that I have also found disturbing. If you hated someone and thought they molested your child would you agree to allow your clips from his movies to be shown at an event honoring that person?? That’s exactly what Mia did as Weide put the montage together and had to get Mia’s permission. Also as Weide documents, Mia has always been friends with her former director, Roman Polanski even though he was actually found to have had sex with an underage girl. I mean would someone maintain a friendship with a guy who did pretty much the same thing you accused your ex boyfriend of doing??

No there are way too many inconsistencies with Mia’s behavior. Look, she was justified with being mad at Woody and justified with never talking to him again but to accuse him of something so terrible knowing it never happened is really inexcusable. And for others to join in knowing jack shit about the facts of the case is equally abhorrent.

You don’t like the fact that Woody fell in love with Soon-Yi, the adopted daughter of Farrow and Andre Previn? Fine. You don’t like the fact that Woody is always chasing after much younger women in his films? Fine.

But you have no right to accuse him of something like molesting a seven year old after people much smarter and more objective than you said it was nonsense.

Everyone really has to fucking move on with their lives.

The first time I realized that a child raised without their culture and forced into another way of life develops a huge hole in their soul was in college. I read an essay by a Vietnamese American student. She was adopted as a baby, from Vietnam, by white parents here in America. She was given a good life, she was raised with little blonde brothers and sisters and she had a suburban sounding name like Caitlyn or something. She did everything right and everything she was supposed to do in life, plus she won a scholarship to a college away from her family. It was her first time on her own and she discovered herself questioning who she was. She was drawn to other Asians and began hanging out with them. She learned of their likes, dislikes, cultures, foods, and she felt “at home and at peace.” Many of them were also adoptees, taken from their families and countries and grew up American. They were drawn to each other to fill a need in their souls. Yet she felt this with a great deal of guilt towards her American family. She loved her adopted family but felt at home, finally, with her friends, who in turn felt the same.

That is the first time I realized how taking the culture away from someone can be somewhat traumatic or really traumatic. How lost it makes that person feel. As I grew older and started seeing cases of this same thing happening with my own Native people and it was shocking. I remember the first time, was when I met a lady in her twenties. I saw her at the casino we both worked at and asked her what tribe she was from. She became angry and said “The lady that gave birth to me was from so and so reservation but I’m white. I grew up white. I was raised white, so don’t ever ask me that again.”

All I could say was “Whoa.” I stood there shocked. I never in my life met another Indian who hated being Indian, and she had to nerve to say she was white, when she was a few shades from midnight? That’s when someone told me she was raised in a foster home, who eventually adopted her.

I began then to understand what it meant to be assimilated and colonized. I began reading of our history and how children were taken by the US government from Native families once they were put on reservations. Children were forcefully taken out of their homes at the age of 5 and put in residential schools until the age of 18. They made handcuffs so small to detain these children. They were beaten for speaking their language, hair was cut, and all for the purpose of “Kill The Indian, Save The Man.”

This generation was our grandparents and great grandparents, who suffered physical, sexual,and emotional abuse in the residential schools. They were never given the chance to heal because these stories were never told. They were kept on the down low by the Catholic church and the government who ran the residential schools. Many of these boarding schools who are now in operation are now making monetary payments, now wanting to hear the stories of abuse and now trying to make amends. After a few were hit with class action lawsuits.

The next generations, also suffered and still suffer. By the foster care systems. Children were taken from their homes and given to white foster families to raise. The families receiving funding for every foster child, would often take on many foster children. The state holds the households they take the children from to the standards set by white society. Without ever listening to how we set family structures, how we take care of our own, or how we live with our traditions, they set everything up to fit a mold, that they live by.

Based on a 1976 study by the Association on American Indian Affairs found that 25 to 35% of all Indian children were being placed in out-of-home care. (Eighty-five percent of those children were being placed in non-Indian homes or institutions.) Congress then passed the Indian Child Welfare Act (25 U.S.C. § 1901) in 1978 in order to keep American Indian Children with American Indian families.

However, this is not being followed in South Dakota. Why? Because South Dakota has a dirty little secret. According to a wonderful and very thorough investigation by National Public Radio that inspired me to find my brother who was lost for 21 years due to failure of the fact that DSS didn’t follow ICWA regulations and place him with family. I was 19 years old when he was taken from his mother. I was employed and had my own place and he was 8 years old. When I asked them why they didn’t ask me, all they said was sorry and also ,sorry we can’t help you find him now. That is when I began to search for him and I also began to investigate why so many of our Indian children in South Dakota are taken from their homes and placed in Non-Native homes, this is when I found their dirty little secret.

South Dakota’s Department of Social Services receives money for Native children they take custody of. They receive more money than the non-Native children they take from their homes. Native children in South Dakota make up 15% of all the children of South Dakota, yet over half the children placed in foster care are Native. And only 13% of those children are placed in Native foster homes. While Native foster home sit empty for months. South Dakota removes children from their homes at a rate 3 time higher than any other state. But according to state figures, less than 12 percent of the children in foster care in South Dakota have been actually physically or sexually abused in their own homes. That’s less than the national average.

I still didn’t get to the dirty little secret yet. South Dakota, years ago, designated all Native children as “special needs.” Which means every Indian child in every school benefits that school with more funding and it also means that every Indian child taken from their home by DSS benefits South Dakota more than non-Native children. And although the state says they match all the money coming in from the feds dollar for dollar, the match is not exact. According

to records from 2010, the feds reimbursed the state three quarters for what it spent on the children they removed from their homes. There is also an adoption incentive program nobody hears about. The federal government gives the states $4,000 for each child who is placed into adoption from foster care. That amount is $12,000 for “special needs” children. And of course over half the children removed from homes in South Dakota are Indian children, who, you guessed it, are designated by the state as “special needs” just for being American Indian. The state has made almost a million dollars in the last ten years off of our most precious resource. Our children. They moved us to dry, barren lands that cannot be farmed, the took the gold and every resource from the lands they stole. And now they are after our children.

Why is this not making a splash? Why is it not news? Especially , in South Dakota? Because they will go to any length to cover up what they do to take our children away. Even as our children are being violated in the homes they are placed in. Here is one case that will blow anyone’s mind and still has yet to reach the media in South Dakota.

Former assistant state attorney Brandon Taliaferro and court appointed child advocate Shirley Schwab go to trial tomorrow, January 7, 2013 for crimes they didn’t commit. Mr. Taliaferro and Ms. Schwab have been indicted by SD Attorney General Martin Jackley with witness tampering and disclosure of confidential, Department of Social Services information. They are being accused of these crimes for encouraging two teenage Lakota foster girls to tell the truth about being molested by their non-Native foster parent, who is now serving a 15 year prison sentence for rape of a child under 10.

According to the Daily Kos: Mr. Taliaferro and Ms. Schwab now assert that South Dakota is engaged in a criminal conspiracy to discriminate against Lakota foster children and their mothers, fathers, grandparents and relatives. “It is financially beneficial for the DSS to remove American Indian children from their homes and place them in [white] foster homes,” said Attorney Taliaferro to the Aberdeen News on December 19, 2011. “[Had I followed] the orders of [my boss with respect to the Mette investigation, it] would have required [me] to violate the law, and ethical rules that govern attorney conduct.” Mr. Taliaferro asserts that in 2011 he refused to participate in “a cover-up of misconduct” by the DSS.

The charges are believed to be a direct response to Mr. Taliaferro and Ms. Scwab for criticizing the state’s payroll during the NPR investigation. According to reporter Stephanie Woodard in her article for 100 Reporters “Rough Justice In Indian Child Welfare” where two state Department of Criminal Investigation agents are seen on a Youtube video planning the cover-up by the state against Mr. Taliaferro and Ms. Schwab. They are unaware, that though they are off camera, they left their microphones on.

This is all dirty, low down, Gestapo like tactics used by the Department of Social Services . And it shows how far the state will bend, how low they will go, to keep the millions of dollars they have coming in by stealing yet again from the Indigenous people of this land. Instead they don’t take from the land, they take from the womb.

They won’t get away with this much longer. Something has to be done.

So I heard that just before Bishop Eddie Long spoke to his congregation last Sunday, a lady in his churched yelled, “You don’t have to tell them nothing!” Well, as to be expected, he didn’t say much as he presented his non-denial denial much to the adulation of the many minions church members in attendance.

So while Eddie Long stood there with his “five stones” in his hand, and arrogantly labeled himself as “David” prepped and ready for battle with the “Goliath” media machine. I wondered just what was on the mind of his accusers. Well, thanks to Atlanta’s Fox 5, we now know how at least one of the four men feel:

Like everybody in the court of public opinion, I’ve been discussing this controversy. My wife in particular in one of our discussions had a hard time understanding how these young men could knowingly and willingly engage in carnal relationships with another man. But like I told her, this happens more than we can ever imagine, and with lesser known, or “important” men.

Yes, for every well-to-do Eddie Longs in this word, there are “regular” guys who manipulate kids. And I should know having been on the receiving end of sexual abuse by an older male as a child. I wasn’t an “adult” as are Long’s accusers. However, having been there, I can truly see how it can and does happen.

I could be wrong and maybe it takes having to suck another man’s dick as a child to understand. But somehow for me, after hearing Jamal Parris speak above, I completely felt where he was coming from. Eddie Long did more than fill the void of the fatherless; he violated their trust, and fucked up their minds.

Hopefully these kids are able to eventually recover, and resume to a life of some sort of normalcy. I will say from experience that you never truly get over it and it’s something you live with as long as you’re breathing.

Most important for them to understand, is that they did nothing wrong. Though hard to accept, it’s not their fault. I don’t know if you’ve ever been there, but if you have, I’m sure like me you can understand.

¡Hola! Everybody…

Unless you’re living outside the USA, you have by now been treated to countless stories of Eddie Long’s “alleged” sexual predatory behavior. He is a major religious figure, known for his staunch, homophobic views and conservative, “family values” stance. the accusations leveled against him have rocked Christianity and the Black Church in particular, with many expressing shock, denial, and anger at his actions. This post is not about Eddie Long specifically. It is, however, an attempt to understand the roots of sexual repression, it’s consequences, and why it’s always bound to fail.

First, let me point out that individuals who score highly on psychological metrics measuring homophobia, often demonstrate an attraction to homosexual acts. A university study seems to confirm the belief that most homophobic men have repressed homosexual desires.

The study showed that the men who scored highest on a homophobic measure, were most sexually aroused by gay porn. when confronted with the evidence, the test subjects vehemently denied being sexually attracted to gay porn. (An alternative, but much less likely, explanation is that the homophobic men’s erections were caused by anxiety during the experiment.) I believe that any attempt to repress Eros (which is part of natural make-up) relegates it to the dark recesses of our collective psyche where it becomes warped and controls our behaviors.

Eddie Long’s behavior is not the work of the “devil,” but the consequence of sexual repression.

From birth we are taught to be ashamed of and fearful of sex — all of us to some degree are repressed muthafuckas. Even those of us who claim to be sexually “free” oftentimes use language to describe that experience that leaves me wondering. In many cases it’s a past in which remorse and “youthful indiscretion” plays a prominent role. This isn’t the language of sexual freedom, it’s repression personified. People mistakenly link sexual repression with lack of sexual activity. Nothing could be further from the truth. Repression is a defense mechanism we use to push things out of our conscious awareness where they often gain total subconscious control over our actions.

I have traveled to many places and I have never come up against the sheer depth of sexual hang-ups that I confront with in this society. We fear, loathe, and at the same time crave sex. We are outraged if, god forbid, a child sees a nipple (though there is no evidence nudity is harmful to children), but have nothing to say when we willingly allow our children to be subjected to literally tens of thousands of violent images and marketing strategies aimed at making them mindless consumers (see the most recent example of the Katy Perry Sesame St. flap).

I have written previously about the two-thousand year Christian campaign against sex. Add to that three centuries of Puritanism and… welcome to sex in America.

Eroticism is considered an outlaw energy in this culture. I don’t know exactly why. Perhaps it’s because it’s a reminder of taboo Goddess worship, or because of the sheer power of sexual energy, or because limitations on sexual behavior made sense thousands of years ago. Whatever the reason, Eros is a forbidden fruit and our society spends huge sums of its precious resources every minute of every day to undermine, co-opt, channel, manipulate, ridicule, and distort it.

And we all pay a price for this.

When religion fails to recognize our basic human need for pleasure and uses its power to influence what is considered normal in order to repress our God-given right for nurturing and sensual and erotic pleasure, the consequences are violence and predatory behavior. When we debase sex to its lowest form and ignore the vital spirituality we can draw from the sexual rainbow of playful, loving, and intimate union, we distort our human nature.

Numerous studies of child abuse, for example, indicate that parents who abuse their children were often deprived of physical affection during childhood, and as adults experience extremely unsatisfying sexual relationships. Studies of child-rearing practices across cultures, and evidence of neurological damage in anti social humans demonstrate that deprivation of bodily pleasure during infancy and adolescence and the repression of pleasure promote adult violence. A case in point is the U.S. Compared to other industrialized democracies, The United States has some of the most repressive legal sanctions against sexuality, and yet we have the highest sexual crime rates. That’s a fact, not a belief.

Patriarchal religions (i.e., Christianity, Judaism, and Muslim) that emphasize a high God who actively punish deviations in human behavior commonly endorse anti-women, anti-sex and anti-pleasure value systems. As part of their anti-sexual values, these religions promote negative attitudes about the physical nurture of infants and children. They also severely punish adolescents and adults who engage in erotic pleasures considered outside the norm.

Deprivation of body pleasure throughout life — but especially during the formative periods of infancy, childhood, and adolescence — is very closely related to the amount of warfare and violence in a society. Conversely, societies that promote nurturing in child-rearing, that are comfortable with the body, and with sexuality and pleasure, produce adults who have less sexual dysfunction, who promote gender and social equality, and a society that does not glorify slavery or war.

There is a strong argument for the notion that failure to celebrate the pleasures of the Divine presence in our erotic lives creates the compulsion to conquer and achieve pleasure elsewhere. One can see a clear causal link between patriarchal (Father-like) religions that deny the nurturance we draw from erotic pleasure and the anti-sex, anti-pleasure belief systems of religious fundamentalism and fascism.

Religious fundamentalism of any type relies on literal and patriarchal interpretations of texts that determine what rules guide human behavior and spell out punishments for those who deviate from those rules. Fundamentalism thrives when individuals become terrified of thinking outside cultural norms. For me, fundamentalism is patriarchy gone mad, fascism is the ultimate expression of father-dominance. Within this framework, moralizing and condemnation become more important than celebration and play. Self-centeredness and a preoccupation with power and laws that maintain it become a substitute for adventure, pleasure, wonder, and a living, spiritual ritual.

One only has to look at the Christian rationalization of slavery — of how Christians used the bible to justify slavery, for example. Or look at the early Christian support for Hitler which agreed on his attacks on contraception, pornography, and sexual permissiveness. More recently, Christians have supported neo-fascist attacks on gay marriage, sex education, and abortion clinics.

But it’s not all gloom and doom. We’re in the midst of a tidal change that is terrifying to many people around the world. There are fundamentalist forces clamoring for a return to the “good old times.” There are forces calling for a return to their ways (their “country”). You know, the good old times: the times when women were little better than property, where people of color “knew their place,” and gays were kept in the closet.

There is a culture war in full effect in these United States and there are those who want to drag us back to the Dark Ages where dialogues about sexual identity and alternatives to sexual monogamy didn’t exist. Fortunately, we can’t go back — as much as these ignoramuses would like. We are in what the anthropologist Margaret Meade called a prefigurative stage. The myths and symbols that gave meaning and direction to our culture have lost much of their significance (and with good reason), and we are only beginning to create a new cosmology, a culture that respects sex, pleasure, and sensuality; new myths and icons that provide relevant models for a new consciousness of ourselves and of the earth.

The other option, to cling to an outmoded book full of outdated myths, is to choose to destroy ourselves. If you want a glimpse of what that destruction looks like — look to the personified destructiveness in the Eddie Longs, the Taggarts, and Swaggarts of the world…

I love to learn about people. I will sit and ask you intimate questions and will answer your intimate question just as easily. I often ask the guys I am friends with about their first sexual experience. I found it interesting that nearly every guy told me that his first sexual experience was at a very early age.

The cirsumstances are not those of self sexual exploration. Instead, sex was often directed by someone older, be it a older female babysitter, or family member (both male and female).

One of the most disturbing things I ever heard was an ex who told me that at 8 years old his baby sitter fondled him until he was erect and then instructed him to have sex with her. He said he felt ‘funny’ and jumped up in just as he was ejaculating. He said seeing and feeling it made him scared. He thought the baby sitter caused him to injure himself; he thought something was wrong.

Though maybe not probable; it is possible that the actions of the babysitter could have potentially caused this eight year old boy to father a child. The same kid is now 14 and befriends a young woman who lives in his apartment building. He takes her son to get his hair cut; she invites him to her apartment to play video games. He likes the little boy, and it’s like having a kid brother.

He’s now selling drugs, but because he can’t come home to his two job working mother with drug money; he spends money on little boy and offers money to the young woman because he feels sorry that the little boy has no father; he can relate.

Young woman soon begins a sexual relationship with the 14 year old, making him promise not to tell his mother about their little ‘secret’. She gives him alcohol and marijuana; they have sex often. Though sexually immature, his older cousins taught him about condoms. She refused to use one telling him that he’ll enjoy it better without one.

Another ex of mine, played high school football for a very prestigious and competitive all boys high school. In addition to the normal excessive abusive manner in which some coaches ‘train’ male athletes, this coach in particular had special sessions that included play time in exchange for sexual incentives.

At some point a student made a complaint, the coach (who was part of the “brotherhood” of school administrators) or something creepy and complicated like that. Once the scandal broke, I asked my ex how shocked were the parents and administration. “They knew; everybody knew,”, he said.

I asked did the coach ever proposition him. He said they had a verbal altercation once, and my ex refused to back down. During the heated exchange my ex implied that he was willing to spill the ‘team’ secret.

The coach it seemed, offered to barter playing time to those less athletically competitive boys. It was rumored that the coach was willing to negotiate sexual favors with any boy who needed to ‘buy’ time on the playing field (because high school football buys college tuition…AND proud braggin rights!).

My ex was a star player, and felt that he had been treated unfairly. He threatened to expose the coach’s conduct. The coach gave in and they had no further altercations or discussions after that point.

But the ‘team’ secret lived on until later, when the coach was quietly dismissed after an impressive display of empathetic bulletins and mandatory parent administration meetings as a prelude to the coach’s removal.

Did you see the Youtube video of the toddler fingering and (literally) penetrating a naked teenage girl. Both she and another girl directed the little boy as he humped her and slapped her ass.

At least three people were involved in the taping of this video, the two girls and the camera person. It’s no loner online but I’m very sorry to say that….I saw it.

Here’s some bullshit: The African American community (for you P.C. people) doesn’t care to discuss sex, sexuality, homosexuality and it dam sure doesn’t promote discussion about child sexual abuse.

What does James H. Bell, Tyrone Forbes, Edwin House, Bruce Curtis Leon Dupree, Clarence Garrison and Willie L. Jefferson all have in common? They are pastors that have been arrested for sexual abuses against their parishioners. And in some of the cases, several have been convicted.

It is a fact that sexual abuse goes under-reported in communities of color. Now let’s take that fact and apply it when it comes to outing a pastor, deacon, bishop, or other clergymen and women who serve as high power figures in black communities. Not only is it complicated, but in some instances it can be dangerous.

The recent Eddie Long church scandal has magnified an oft-overlooked flaw in the black community. We exempt our “leaders”, and more readily, our religious leaders from moral or ethical scrutiny. And when this happens, we participate in our own oppression.

With the past 10 years of sexual abuse cover-ups, lawsuits and scandals becoming a mainstay in the Catholic church and among white clergymen, there is a notion among some black church members that their black pastors are absolved from this sin. It is as if their pastors’ erections are somehow different, more divine, thus are stuck in the right orifices.

And in some instances, the victim at the church becomes the predator or the enemy in the eyes of church members—resulting in a collective exile, or one that is self-imposed due to the rejection from people they thought loved them as children of Christ.

It is no wonder why George H. Bush sought out leaders of predominately black mega-churches during election time. Not only do they hold the purse-strings of parishoners, but they control the consciousness of a powerful voting bloc. And just like the teabaggers, these folks vote for someone who is totally against their interest, all in the name of not passing out condoms at schools.

Though some black church-goers refuse to acknowledge that rampant sexual abuse goes on in black churches, it is as alive-and-well as Sunday morning sermons. So much so, that an organization was formed in 2003 to report sexual abuse in the largest black church in the U.S., Church of God in Christ or COGIC.

Sexual abuse doesn’t start or stop at COGIC or at Eddie Long’s New Birth Missionary Baptist.
Other prominent churches have been hit in the past. In April 2009, Pastor Patrick Jerome Whitehead of the famous Sixteenth Street Baptist Church was arrested for forcing sexual actions such as sodomy on a teen he taught at a local high school.

The list does not stop there. Some of these cases may make those who doubt sexual abuse by black clergy become quiet as a church mouse.

In Jackson, Ms, Rev. Freddie Jackson was arrested in 2009 for impregnating a 14-year old parishioner who claims they had sex in the church building and at her home.
Harry Benson of United Methodist Church in Delaware was arrested for numerous counts of molesting a boy he had abused from ages 12 to 18.

In 2005, Pastor Leonard Ray Owens of Prayer House of Faith was arrested for raping a woman he said he was raping the “lesbian demon” out of her. WTF?

In Harlem in 2008, the Catholic Archdiocese suspended, Monsignor Wallace Harris for sexual abusing students in his high school in the 1980s; 10 men and 4 women came out to talk against him.

In 2007, Charles Dickerson out of Fresno, Ca. was arrested for molested two girls in his family, one of them were pregnant.

Since the reports of what is called “Black Collar Crimes” or sexual abuse by clergy members, there have been some clergy who have spoken out. Nevertheless, this is far and few between.

Some people may think that my mission is to destroy the black church; but as a great-grand-niece of a black clergyman from Mississippi who was killed due to his political agitation, I hope the recent expose pushes a needed restructuring of the black church from the top down.

Finally, the unchecked, cultish, pimp-like dominion that pastors have had on black churches since MLK was known for plugging a deaconess-a-day is finally being exposed.

It has been the big black open secret that overshadows pulpits since abolition. It is the horrible truth. Nobody dares talk about it. Er’bdy turns a blinds eye to it.

And at this point, no holy oil, scripture verses or a slick $7,000 tailored suit can hide a known fact that has been an ugly thread in the history of black churches for a minute. And in my opinion, a huge contributor the diminishing of black church’s political power politically, economic communalism and spiritual leadership.

It seems these days that the last incentive for a crook to go legit is to open up a damn church. Sheeit, pimps gotta eat too. That whole profit

Oh, and that goes for black mosques—the Nation of Islam and Orthodox mosques that toss sisters up like shot glassed; And I will not leave out Hebrew Israelites who “discipline” women by putting them in homes with other women who have violated policy; the Nuwabian nation with Malachi York who was known to sleep with a man’s bride the night before the wedding; Or the Santeros, and Orisha community in which the priests run through the women like loose bowels.

Let’s put it all on the table tonight! Sexual exploitation and black religion goes hand in hand. But let’s get back to Christian churches since they hold the bulk of black folk in the States, shall we?

Black pastors, mainly males, have a sordid history of abusing their power through sexually exploiting the congregation members. And largely, much of them refuse to deal with the visible gay population in their churches.

Conveniently, some pastors sex parishioners while hiding behind bible quotes to skirt the issue of homosexuality in the black community. Little be known that the most sexually free person is the pimp at the pulpit.

Now you know why black churches are filled with women and down-low choir directors that everyone know is gay because he uhh, flames like nobodies business. Welp, now you have it, the head of the church is fucking them all in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah.

Ahh, power can make a dick hard.

Hence long-dong, Eddie Long. Or should I say Dick Tracey Long (his alias according to court documents). A man who is alleged to use the little power that the black community yields to turn out young men.

Bishop Long, I promise you will make more money if you fall on the sword of God and admit your flaws.

Unfortunately, these god-like pastors have raised themselves up so much that they have provided little room to be human and be honest about their woes. Not just on a Sunday morning feel-good session (not with Jaheim I mean); but real, day-to-day issues where they go and get some help. And not from another lascivious pastor.

Pastor-on-pastor counsel does not help. Look what it did to Juanita Bynun and Thomas Weeks. A 2-million-dollar divorce, oodles of cosmetic surgery, an ass whooping, and a nasty divorce later, they are back ministering to whom I might ask? Probably folk who don’t have the luxury to hide behind money, gospel books, and fish fries.

Right now, I bet Long’s dire-hard church members are holding vigils in front of the church, crying and singing to the Lord. Some of these people are probably facing foreclosure, or a dime away from hunger, but sure enough will throw themselves in front of a bus to save their profit, oh, I mean prophet. That means they will hush those accusations even if they are true, in the name of their love for Long. Unfortunate, but true.

Sadly, people are flipping backwards as if this shit is new. This is not new. It is actually so old it is intertwined in the DNA of black church culture.

Right after paying tithes comes the pastor swinging his dick at lonely women, married women, young girls, and ahem, a chip off the old Catholic block—young boys.

All those years, young women were secreted away to have babies by bishops; or women are counseled by their pastors between the bible and sweaty jukes in his office might finally get some justice.

And for the lack of addressing the visible black gay population, I hope this is a wake up call to bible thumpers that those so-called “faggots” you diss are Christians too. And in this case, it might be the head of a mega-church.

Maybe, just maybe, the son of TD Jakes, you know Jermaine Jakes, the one who was arrested for soliciting sex in a gay park in Dallas. Maybe, just maybe, he can be comfortable out of the closet.

By the way, where the fuck is Al Sharpton, Jesse Jacson, Creflo Dollar, or TD Jakes?….uhhh, I think I hear crickets.

As a victim of sexual abuse as a child, I’ve made peace and have come to terms with the feelings of guilt associated with such an experience. Today, it’s very rare that I get upset like I used to when I hear of stories of sexual assaults on children by adults. But every now and then I come across a story like the following that pisses me off:
Chicago, Illinois – Jamelia Lillian Sanders, a 36-year-old South Side man was jailed Saturday after he pretended to be a woman to gain access to two children he is alleged to have molested.

According to Chicago police, Sanders befriended a family several years ago and told them that he was a woman. He was allowed to spend time with two girls, ages seven and nine, and spent a lot of time alone with them while “taking them out.”

Investigators say the children told their family Sanders had sexually assaulted them and that he threatened to kill them if they told anyone. He abused the younger victim repeatedly between 2007-2008, and began abusing the older child in January 2010.

Sanders was booked into jail and charged with two counts of predatory sexual assault. He is being held without bond.

It is unclear why Sanders appears to be badly beaten in hs mug shot photo. Angry family members, perhaps?Now I’ve told some lies to women just to get the booty, but this shit is taking it too fuckin’ far. I’m not a violent person, but I’d love to have twenty minutes alone with this guy in a locked room… NO HOMO… so I can thoroughly beat the shit out of him, as all child molesters should be at least three times a week.

Thankfully there’s a place for him where he can get dealt with with extreme prejudice. But err, as a father of 4 daughters? This is why you don’t allow strangers in your home – nope, not even that perverted great uncle…

Have you ever had bad sex? Oh of course you have. I know I have, and I’ll be honest and admit that I failed to meet the expectations of a few when it came to swinging an episode. I mean, you can’t please everybody; and, for some women, four inches just happens to be too much girth. But I tell you what? I’m pretty sure there’s an equal amount of men who can tell their fair share of similar stories of bad sexual encounters. Speaking of which, checkout this next story:
Michelle Thomas had sex with her common-law husband on Thursday and was not satisfied, so she stabbed him with a pair of scissors.

The 26-year-old woman laughingly told police that her husband did not please her sexually in bed, so she slashed his chest, hand and knee.

Although the unidentified man did summon police to the home and suffered superficial cuts, he did not want to press charges against Thomas. He also refused to seek medical treatment.

The Hudson,Texas, young woman alleges that her husband had been drinking, forcibly grabbed her by the wrists and threw her on the bed. She also claims that he began choking her. After examining Thomas, police investigators did not find any telltale injurious marks on her body.

Thomas was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a deadly weapon.

She faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted and will be slapped with a $10,000 fine. (source)OK, so like I said above, I’ve had some no-so-memorable sexual encounters. I have, but I didn’t try to physically hurt anybody! Nope, I’ve never came out swinging swords like I was in the Wu-Tang Clan all because the booty was wack. I used to kick it with this woman who I swore she had talons because of the way she used to dig and claw into my back. After about my fourth or fifth encounter with her I had to tell her to cut that shit out; and never once did I think about punching her in the eye. Shoot, I just kept it moving and was on to the next one.

So after reading the above story, I’m trying to figure out a few things. Aside from the obvious question as to why she looks so damn happy in her mug shot; I’m trying to figure out just what went wrong here. First off, the guy was her common-law husband. I’m pretty sure this means dude has been living under the same roof, and having sex with this woman for a while. Yes, this wasn’t just one of those one night stand, new booty from the club, type of situation. That said, wouldn’t it stand to reason that this brotha did nothing new this time around?

Now of course, that’s assuming that they’re kinda on the freaky side, and that this woman has already participated in his “choke a chick” type of bedroom antics. I know it sounds crazy but there are people who are into that “I’ll choke the shit out of you while I’m having sex with you,” thing. That said, I’m not gonna assume that dude was out of character by trying to choke her, or force himself onto her. I mean c’mon, if that was the case, we would be subjected to his mug shot rather than hers. So with that said, I’m really like what-the-fuck! Especially since there’s no evidence to support any of her claims.

So what, is this woman a few fries short of a Happy Meal? Maybe. Hell, look at how happy she is in her mug shot. I’m sayin’, what dude (other than her human chop-board) is ever gonna wanna “get with her” ever after this story. I mean guys are taught that when it comes to “putting in the work,” you gotta do it right. We’re told by older heads that if we don’t, then we’ll become the laughing stock of all of “her” female friends. And of course you don’t wanna be just that, just in case you plan to run through her entire crew at some point.

Of course I’m married now and I no longer have to worry about that sorta thing. But I’m hoping that this doesn’t become a trend that can affect some of my single homies out there. Having to worry about getting a woman pregnant, contracting HIV/AIDS (or any other STD), or getting sliced the hell up is just too much damn pressure for a brotha. As for ole girl? I’m not sure if anger management classes are in order. But I would say the possibility of having to face up to twenty years in prison should be enough for her to get her mind right.
