Great write-up, Brotha Wolf! I hadn’t heard of this foolishness. White feminists just refuse to sit-down, shut up, and stop talking over feminists who are women of color and black feminists.
They’re adamant about being, what I’ll call, the anti-ally. Being a genuine ally (a word I’ve come to loathe) means sitting the hell down, listening and learning; not co-opting the voices of women of color and black women across the Diaspora who KNOW how to project their own voices about issues that impact *their* lives. I mean, we’re the ones LIVING our experiences. Geez.
