Hey, Pat Robertson: Do White People Eat Chitlins For Thanksgiving, Or Is That A Black Thing?

Nov 23, 2011 14 Comments by

Yes, that’s a question I’ve always wanted to ask. Being a kid from the Caribbean where there’s no Thanksgiving  holiday, or traditions, I’ve always wanted to know whether white folks were known to partake of chitlins for Thanksgiving, or whether that was just a black thing? I’ve been in many homes across the country over many years since being here. However, I have yet to be invited to have Thanksgiving dinner in the humble abode of a Caucasian. I don’t know why, but maybe they think I eat chitlins and would be disappointed if they didn’t have any.

So here it is: do y’all white folks eat chitlins for Thanksgiving like black folks?

Well, Do Y'all Eat Chitlins?

I’m only asking because I’ve been told that were it not for white slave masters, chitlins would have never been a Thanksgiving staple in Negro homes across America – that’s with the exception of uppity Negro enclaves, of course. You know, the black people who are far too successful to eat the entrails of a pig? Yep, you know, the privileged Negro don’t roll like that.

However, something tells me that unknown to said uppity Negroes, white folks are eating chitlin like it’s going out of style. If they haven’t before now, they damn sure are eating it in this shitty economy. Hell, with one in three people in America living near poverty today, I’d say white folks are rubbing chitlin juice on their bodies, listening to Al Green, and drinking malt liquor trying to get a tan. Yep, in this economy, we’s all black folks now, ain’t we? Damn straight; chitlins, turkey, and cheese wiz for everybody dammit – we’s all black now!

Oh, and speaking of cheese, checkout my man Pat Robertson in the following clip. You’ll see I’m not the only one curious about wehat “certain people” eat at Thankgiving. So yeah, Happy Thanksgiving, folks! Enjoy your day. Be safe, be mindful of those less fortunate, and be thankful for what you have no matter how little it may be. Me and mine are thankful for your continued support of our site. We hope to continue to entertain, enlighten, and embarrass you in years to come.

Somebody answer Pat Robertson’s question below, please? I just can’t with this fool!

I actually did a clinical with white paramedics and they cooked chitterlings during that clinical, me hating the smell of shit boiling, frying, roasting however it so happens to be prepared, I left the day room area!!! They were highly surprised that me being the only black person at the station I wasn’t eager to partake in that Ungodly cuisine.

I could see how it would be shocking to white folks when they find out that not all black people eat chitlins. LOL

Well, Rippa, I would like to cordially invite you and your family to come share dinner in my humble abode the day after Thanksgiving (I am technically not celebrated Genocide Day, just love the food) No chitlins, but I will be making some of the best mac and cheese in the world. (This video reminds me of my friend Henrietta… when she wanted to emphasize how much she liked my mac and cheese, she told me “You cook mac and cheese as good as a Black person!” I considered this high praise coming from her!)

He said a white person hun!  Genocide day – another demented loon.  But it’s all good you redeemed the wannabe blackness by sayin even a black person thinks you make mac and cheese better than a black person.      You can start by thanking me for paying for your dinner and supporting your life of leisure – I am part of the 53%.

Thanks for the invitation, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to make it.

    With his cracker ass!!!

Years ago when I lived in the New Orleans area I was patiently waiting in a soul food restaurant for the shrimp po boy that I had ordered.  While I was waiting a limo pulled up and the driver (a black man in a chauffer’s uniform) and who I assumed to be the owner (an older Caucasian woman) entered the restaurant and stepped to the counter to order.  She was talking to the driver while ordering.  She said she’d always wanted to try some of those chitterlings.

I laughed my ass off at the way she said it and I wondered if she actually knew what they really were.  Oh, the driver smiled too….apparently he thought it was funny too.

Do you think white folks put hot sauce on their chitlins, or is that a black thing? LOL

Oh, and Pat Robertson now has me wondering is white people eat mac ‘n cheese. #fail

Ok, for a answer I been a poor person since getting married at 22 and having children. I thought I was just that. White and poor. Since then I realized my parents lied to me and I  look white but am black. I practically raised my kids on Kraft macaroni & Cheese, all four of them. Since now I know I and my family are considered black I wouldn’t know if it is only a black person thing lol.

Never have I tasted chitlins. But all and all, it makes me wonder. Do the white people, who know full well they are white, covertly talk to one another and say ” Never eat Mac & Cheese”

Come on… every white kid I know grew up on mac and cheese… it came in a little blue box!

LOL I can’t stand chitlins. I have gotten funny looks from white folks on occasion when they realized I didn’t enjoy those things.

Yeah, the mac and cheese line really shows how stupid he is, if all the other dreck he says hasn’t convinced anyone yet. Italians invented it.
